Holder of the Blue Riband for the fastest Atlantic crossing by an ocean liner, gained on her maiden voyage in 1952.
The model has a black hull and white decks and superstructure, with red-brown hatches. The two funnels with their distinctive 'wings' are red, white and blue.
This example is very near mint, as new apart from one small paint chip on the edge. The plastic mast is still inside its Minic Ships bag, and the model is wrapped in its original tissue. The box has some graffiti on the ends, and appears to be a re-purposed Queen Elizabeth box.
