Britains Mini-Sets

The 12 Mini-Sets were introduced in 1968, each consisting of figures in a scenic setting. Diverse themes included farm, zoo, knights, soldiers and even an underwater scene with frogmen and octopus. Although attractive, they were made to a smaller 1:42 scale so did not fit in with the other Britains models. Possibly because of this they did not sell well and were withdrawn at the end of 1972, so today are comparatively rare.
