This is a pack of accessories for use with the Matchbox Motorway system. This was similar in appearance to other slot car systems like Scalextric, but instead of having motorised cars it used long springs that moved along underneath the track. Guide pins could be fixed to the underside of any Matchbox vehicle: these engaged with the spring and made the cars move!
The box contains 10 guide pins, 10 foil stickers for fixing them to the underside of cars, and one spare clip to hold the two ends of the spring together. Unused and in mint condition - the original retailer's price of 1/9 (one shilling and ninepence) is written in pencil on one side.
