The Fowler Showman's Engine is one of Lesney's most impressive models, with superb detailing.
This one is a later issue in red, but without the later extended block behind the baseplate. With white roof and gold roof supports and poles. 'LESNEY'S MODERN AMUSEMENTS' decals on the roof sides. There is also gold trim to the boiler door, chimney rim and generator. The chimney is stored on the roof, ready to be erected when the engine reaches the fairground and is put into action generating power for the rides! Wheels are spoked metal, finished in yellow with unpainted metal treads.
This one is in good condition, although there are paint chips on the roof. There is a little loss from the edges of the decals.
