This hand-built conversion is based on the Super Kings K126/K128 DAF Transporter. It is finished in the grey and black livery of Sunter Bros, a heavy haulage company that operated for many years from Northallerton, North Yorkshire.
The set consists of a two-axle low loader semi trailer, towed by a DAF 3300 Space Cab tractor unit, and with an additional DAF 3300 couple to the rear of the trailer. Both DAFs have 'SUNTER BROS' roof signs, amber roof lights, cab mirrors and silver grille detailing, The rear one also has a custom-made rear body with 'SUNTER BROS' lettering and realistic wood effect load bed.
The trailer has 'SUNTER BROS' signs above the wheels, and carries a hose reel load which is actually from a Wright Rain Hose Drum Irrigator from the 1:32 Britains Farm range.
In excellent condition, the only defect being a missing support from one of the trailer signs (see photo). This could easily be replaced with a small piece of card or Plasticard,
