This is one of the original 16 Hot Wheels models released in 1968, known to collectors as the 'sweet sixteen'. It is finished in purple 'Spectraflame' paint. The interior is white with black steering wheel and the windows have a blue tint. The side exhausts and exposed engine are chrome plated and the rear lights are picked out in red. Wheels are the famous 'Redline' type with low friction bearings.

This one is fair-to-good with general paint chipping and loss of silver from the wheels. Nevertheless, the window glazing is undamaged and the model still rolls in a straight line! The Silhouette was made in both the USA and Hong Kong; this one is the latter.

Mint	As new. There may be slight factory flaws.
Excellent	Just one or two very small defects which prevent a Mint ranking, perhaps a very small chip in an inconspicuous place. Box will show signs of having been opened and closed.
Good	General chipping but still good enough to display. Box may be creased or slightly torn but is still the right shape and no parts missing.
Fair	Extensive chipping, damage to decals or cracked windows, but no parts missing. Box may have one or two flaps missing.
Poor	Badly damaged, parts missing, very rusty, and/or repainted. Box badly mutilated. Not suitable for display.
