A fine model of an imposing car! This exact scale replica has the usual Franklin Mint attention to detail. The bodywork is finished in dark burgundy with chrome bumpers, grille, spare wheel covers and other fittings. The interior has off-white 'leather look' seats and door trim with 'wood' cappings, and all the controls are reproduced accurately. Turning the steering wheel operates the front wheels. The model features opening doors and an opening bonnet, each side with double hinges. The engine, transmission, chassis and exhaust are of course accurately modelled, and the chrome 'wire' wheels have red centre caps and whitewall tyres. At the rear is a dickey seat under an opening cover, and a luggage trunk with brown 'leather' handles and chrome latches. The model is complete with a removable off-white plastic soft top.
This model is generally in excellent condition, but one of the small mirrors on top of the spare wheel covers is missing. It comes in its original expanded polystyrene packaging, but without any paperwork or outer box.
