This model was unusual because it was made by French Dinky and also, for a time, by Dinky in Liverpool. This is the British version, with the British catalogue number of 997 under one wing instead of the French number 891. The other wing is still numbered 60F, which was the early (1959) French number. Other variations to the casting include 'MADE IN ENGLAND' instead of 'MADE IN FRANCE'.
In silver-grey, with white upper fuselage. 'Air France' livery with blue window stripe decal, but lacking the French version's 'Caravelle' on the nose. The registration mark F-BHRB appears on the starboard wing in blue, and also on the tail. This model features drop-down steps at the rear of the fuselage, with a spring action holding them in the raised position.
This example has some chipping on the central ridge on top of the fuselage, and light chipping/rubbing on other edges. There is some decal loss on the tail and on the port side of the fuselage.
