In military green, this is an earlier release of the Austin Champ with cast metal driver figure. The driver is wearing brown uniform with black hat, and is seated at a green cast metal steering wheel. The other seats have holes to accept seated personnel that were available as a Dinky Toys accessory. The headlights are silver and there are yellow and red Royal Armoured Corps markings front and rear. The wheels have green ridged cast hubs with smooth tyres including a spare on the rear.
In very good condition; there is some paint loss from the driver's hat and chips on the front bumper and the front edge of the bonnet. There is also some rust on the tinplate windscreen frame, and the tyres have hardened with age and two of them have flat spots. The axles are almost rust-free. This model comes in a box which has lost one main flap and has tape on the other. There is also some creasing.
