An impressive model, this is the version with light blue cab and trailer. The upper and lower decks are brown-grey. The Bedford tractor unit has a black grille and bumper, with silver trim. The wheels have dark blue cast ridged hubs and smooth black tyres. The trailer, which is cast in aluminium, has a lowering rear ramp. 'DINKY TOYS DELIVERY SERVICE' on the sides and ramp in dark blue, and '20' sign on ramp. The blue wheels are Supertoys type, again with smooth tyres.
A very good original example. There a few little chips on the edges of the front mudguards and rubbing on the trailer corners. There is some blotchy discolouration to the paintwork, and part of the '20' sign has worn away. The tyres are good, although in need of a clean. There is some rust on the spare wheel holder.
The striped lidded box has general age wear with a surface tear on one end of the lid, but no splits.
