This is a better-than-new restoration of a Crescent 1290 Maserati. Refinished in the original colour of red with silver grille, with the exhaust pipes also picked out in silver. The racing number decals are authentic modern replicas; the rear ones are positioned at the end of the tail like the Crescent 1286 Ferrari; the Maserati normally has them further forward and higher up. The driver has white overalls and helmet with pink face, and the off-white base is secured by new rivets.
The wheels and tyres are original and unrestored; the wheels have a nice spoked effect and cast-in brake drums.
In excellent restored condition, this model looks great on display!
