This sought-after Batman gift set is the earlier 'long box' version, with Batcopter, Batmobile and Batboat packed end-to-end in their window box.
The Batmobile is in gloss black with yellow front lights, red interior, and silver plated parts. The interior is complete with Batman and Robin figures and the windscreens are blue tinted. There is an aerial on the rear deck and red bat insignia on the doors. The model has an operating front chain cutter and firing rear rocket tubes. At the rear is a metal towbar to which the Batboat trailer may be hitched. The metal trailer is in gold with Whizzwheels. The boat itself is in black plastic with red plastic fin and detailed interior. There are red, black and yellow labels on the hull and black and yellow bat labels on the fin.
The Batcopter is also in black with Batman labels on the sides and tail. The cockpit has clear glazing and features a batman figure. The main rotors fold for storage and spin when a thumbwheel on the side is turned. The model also features a working winch, again operated by a thumbwheel.
These models are near mint, with the exception of 3 paint chips on the top edge of one of the Batmobile's rear fins, and some ageing to the labels on the Batboat's hull. The set is complete with 12 unused yellow plastic missiles, still on their runner.
The box is somewhat crumpled, and the window appears to have been replaced at some point. The expanded polystyrene inner has only a little wear, and the card 'floor' is present and correct.
