Metallic maroon with off-white interior. Opening bonnet reveals chrome plated engine. The doors open and the front seats slide. 'Mini Marcos' side decals and 'glass' headlamps. This model features Corgi 'Golden Jacks' with take-off wheels. A little lever is located on the underside of the vehicle next to each wheel. When flipped down, the lever supports the car and allows the wheel to be removed. Several Corgi cars were fitted with this feature in the late 1960s, but it was quickly withdrawn when Whizzwheels were introduced.
This example is in good-to-excellent condition with shiny paintwork; there are some chips on the front edge and few other small ones elsewhere. All the features work as they should and the tyres are excellent. The box has some age wear; the clear plastic window is torn and one of the end flaps from the inner tray is missing.
