A nice early example of Corgi's famous late 1960s model of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang from the even more famous film. It is complete with all four of its original figures and its detachable front and rear wings: these parts often go missing so it is good to find them all present and correct.
This model is loaded with detail, including jewelled lights, bonnet strap, instrument panel, 'serpent' horn and 'GENII' number plates. Pull the brake lever and the side wings pop out, ready to fly!
In excellent overall condition, near mint apart from some discolouration to one of the headlights. It comes in its original box which has wear around the edges and some sun fading. The flaps have been reinforced with tape on the inside. The window is a replacement, and is crumpled but not split, while the internal 'cloud' tray and card background are very good.
Overall length quoted is without the clip-on wings.
