A lovely example of this early Matchbox model. In light grey-brown with rear lights highlighted in red, and the front bumper, grille and headlights in silver. Satin black base incorporating a tow hook, and grey metal wheels on crimped axles.
The paintwork is bright and unblemished apart from some rubbing on the raised door lines. Some of the red paint has worn from the lights. The tow hook is intact and the axles have very light tarnishing. The type B box has lost both end flaps and two inner flaps, and has creasing on the plain sides.
