This is an early example of this popular model, in orange with white driver, milk crates and 'Pasteurised Milk' lettering. The horse is dark brown with white tail, mane and hooves and gold harness, and the float has spoked metal wheels.
This is an exceptionally nice example with bright paintwork, although there is some surface rust on the axles. There is a rub on one end of one roof rail, and very slight rubbing to the white paint on the driver. There is also a small scratch on one of the horse's hind legs where it has rubbed on the shaft, but it is not visible on display.
The type B1 box is good-to-excellent, with some creasing on one plain side.
