Red, with silver headlamps and bumper, black steering wheel and black tinplate windscreen frame and tow hook. The baseplate is matt black. This is a later issue, with red plastic wheels and treaded 'M' tyres.
Fair-to-good, with paint chipping around the edges of the body, mudguards and seats. There axles are a little tarnished but rust-free, and the tyres are generally good although there is a crack in one of the rear ones and a gouge in the side of the spare.
The box has general wear and the flaps at one end are taped up. The hinge of the other end flap is partly torn, and there is an old price label on one face. A price of 3/11 (three shillings and elevenpence) is written in pencil on one end.
