In red with silver horizontal grille bars, headlights and bumper. Mottled black tinplate base and black tow hook. Note the front number plate formed by a baseplate tab passing up through a slot in the bumper. With matching red ridged wheels and smooth black tyres.
The model was renumbered from 30r to 422 in 1954. This one has a cross-brace behind the rear axle, but no model number on the underside, which indicates that it is a later 30r or a very early 422.
In excellent condition, with shiny paintwork and rust-free base and axles. There are a few small paint chips on the nearside wheel arches and the flat bed edges, and a little one above one side window.
