With its front wheel drive, independent front suspension and distinctive styling with concealed headlamps, the Cord 810 caused a sensation at the 1935 New York Auto Show. The 812 was a supercharged version of the 810, distinguished by its chrome-plated exhaust pipes on the bonnet (hood) sides, and these are faithfully reproduced on this Yesteryear model.
Finished in red, with white interior and roof and black steering wheel and base. The bumpers and windscreen frame are also chrome plated, as are the solid detailed wheels which have whitewall tyres.
This example is in excellent condition, with just one tiny chip on the edge of the bonnet and light rubbing to the ends of the bumpers. The whitewalls have discoloured slightly with age. The 'straw' window box is good-to-excellent. There is an old price label on one end.
