This is the scarce final issue of the Bedford Refuse Wagon, with orange cab and chassis and light grey rear body with green metal rear door and green plastic sliding shutters (earlier versions had tinplate shutters). The radiator grille and headlamps are silver, the floor of the tipping body is gloss black, and the base is matt black. Unlike earlier versions the cab has clear window glazing, and the wheels are red plastic with black knobbly tyres.
This model is generally in very good condition with chipping to the edges of the cab and rubbing on raised body lines. The tipping mechanism works well. Unfortunately one of the sliding shutters has split across its width; see photos. A nice example nevertheless. The same cannot be said of the box which has lost all of its inner flaps and the main flaps are detached or very nearly so. There are also some tape parks and a pencil mark on one side.
