This is an early example of this popular model, in orange with white driver, crates and lettering. The horse is dark brown with white tail, mane and hooves and gold harness, and the float has spoked metal wheels.
The model is in good-to-excellent condition, with bright shiny paintwork and rust-free axles. There are a few small paint chips on the corners and some paint loss on the sides of the horse where the shafts join. The type B1 box is complete but has some age wear with creasing on one plain side and one end flap. The inner flaps are all present. A price of 1/6 (one shilling and sixpence) is written in pencil on one face.
