A Mercedes Coupe in dark red with silver trim to the grille and bumpers, off-white interior and grey plastic wheels. When it was launched in 1963, Matchbox claimed this was the first model saloon car to have opening doors.
This one has moderate paint chipping, but mainly confined to the roof. The doors are intact, and the axles free from rust. The type D box is good-to-excellent; there is some wear to the edges of the flaps, but otherwise it is bright and crisp.
