A nice period piece, this 'split screen' Bedford CA van would have been used to deliver newspapers around London in the late 1950s/early 1960s. In deep yellow with silver grille and grey plastic 24-tread wheels on rounded axles. There are six decals: 'First with the News' in white in red on the diagonal roof sign, red 'Evening News' on the van sides, and headline boards on the cab doors.
This one is in good-to-excellent condition, with light paint chipping around the edges of the roof and top edge of the sign. The decals are all undamaged, so the model looks great on display. The axles are almost rust-free.
