A fine replica of this classic British sports car, with all the precision and attention to detail that you would expect from a Franklin Mint model. Finished in red with black chassis and suspension parts and chrome radiator surround, windscreen frame, door handles and other parts. The interior is in 'leather look' tan, including the door panels, and with black carpet. The dashboard is fully detailed and the sports steering wheel turns the front wheels. The wheels themselves are chrome plated 'wire' with knock-on hubcaps and black tyres. The doors open on 'proper' miniature hinges, as does the bonnet which is double-hinged and under which is a superbly detailed engine. The car is supplied with a removable hood and a hood cover, so you have the choice of displaying it with hood up or down.
In excellent condition, the only defect is that the metal strut from one side of the removable hood is missing. The model comes in its original expanded polystyrene packaging, but without the outer box. The tag is still present, but there is no certificate or other paperwork.
