This collectors' model is in heavy diecast metal and contains a wealth of detail. The bodywork is in Harbour Blue with off-white flash on the rear wings, and plenty of 1950s American chrome. Exterior detailing includes Chevrolet badging, gold grille and 'glazed' lights. The bonnet opens - although it won't stay open on its own - to reveal a detailed engine bay with engine and ancillaries.
The doors also open, and the interior is an attractive two-tone blue with matching carpet. The dashboard and pedals are accurately modelled, and the steering wheel turns the front wheels. The wheels are chrome with red centres and whitewall tyres, and the chassis is matt black.
This example is generally very good, but there should be twin aerials on the rear deck and a mirror on the driver's door, and they are missing. The model comes in its original expanded polystyrene box packaging and card outer box; note that there is no certificate or other paperwork.
